Popular Nigerian Fuji artist, Sulaimon Alao, popularly known as KS 1 Malaika, on Friday stormed the Kolawole Ajibade Oyekan Foundation Free Summer Coaching Centre in Lagos to mentor and engage with over 800 pupils.
The Fuji music icon encouraged the students to focus on their studies and represent the Foundation positively in all circumstances.
Addressing the students, KS1 Malaika emphasized that while the journey to success might be challenging, he urged them to remain dedicated and prayerful in their pursuit of success.
Drawing from his own experience, he shared that he, too, had faced challenges during his formative years, but he persevered, engaged in productive activities, while he emphasized the significance of personal development and self-actualization.
The singer expressed that achieving success requires qualities such as determination, consistency, and productivity.
He also underscored the importance of both formal and informal education. According to him, formal education imparts knowledge through various means, while informal education imparts practical skills, values, and guidelines crucial for personal and professional growth.
During his visit, KS1 Malaika performed live renditions of his hit tracks from various musical albums for the students and the audience. The performance lasted for approximately 15 minutes.
He lauded the Executive Director of the Foundation, Taiwo Oyekan, and his team for their numerous corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Responding on behalf of the Foundation, Oyekan expressed gratitude to the musician and his team for the visit, affirming their commitment to making a positive impact on the world and humanity as a whole.
