Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Alhaji Musa Ille, was allegedly shot and killed by suspected terrorists.
The news broke when the distinguished Security Analyst and Counterinsurgency Expert, Zagazola Makama, shared the information on X.
According to Makama, unidentified gunmen allegedly attacked Musa at about 8 p.m., right in front of his residence in Tsafe Local Government Area.
An anonymous eyewitness reportedly described Musa as a highly respected and devout individual.
The eyewitness said, “We have lost an exceptional and compassionate neighbour. He was shot several times right in front of his house.”
Due to this alleged incident, the residents of the community are urging the Zamfara State government to strengthen security measures to ensure the safety of its citizens.
As of now, the Zamfara State Police have not yet released an official report regarding the alleged murder case.
