Balancing family and career
Most women often find themselves torn between meeting the needs of their loved ones and pursuing their professional goals. Societal expectations, gender roles, and personal aspirations can create a complex web of responsibilities, guilt, and pressure. So, sometimes, balancing a career and family life can be challenging. However, Bola is a shining example of a woman who has cracked the code on balancing career and family life.
Despite her impressive professional success, she remains deeply devoted to her loved ones and takes immense pride in caring and nurturing her home.
Speaking on her secret tip, she said, “The concept of work-life balance is not a one-size-fits-all. But you must understand that the ‘sweet point’ in your work-life balance is unique to you. What really matters and will bring joy and fulfilment is different for everyone. Also, it depends on what season of your life you are in and the sacrifices you are willing to make in that season.”
She also emphasized the importance of intentionality in achieving success. “Your values shape your choices, which in turn determine your level of success. My core values are integrity, loyalty, excellence, consistency, and faith. Among these, being exceptional in your endeavors is what sets you apart and leads to success.”
