Edo honors LASU’s best graduating student Aminat Yusuf

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has offered Lagos State University’s award-winning graduate, Aminat Imoitesemeh Yusuf, automatic employment in the state’s civil service.

Following her record-breaking feat where she finished her degree program at LASU with a perfect 5.0 CGPA – the best ever in the school’s 40-year history – the Governor has thought it right to honor the Edo State daughter for doing the entire state proud.

Congratulating Aminat, Obaseki lauded her hard work, commitment, and dedication, praising her for being a good ambassador of Edo’s spirit of excellence.

The governor, whose offer was conveyed by the Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowa, said, “Beyond merely congratulating her, we have offered automatic employment to her.

Indeed, we have reached out to her parents and spoken with them. They have accepted our offer of employment.”

The Governor, who disclosed this via his Twitter handle, expressed his desire to populate the Edo State civil service with the best available talents.
