How to retrieve motorcycles seized during Covid-19 lockdown -Police

Police Command in Kaduna has announced a retrieval process for the motorcycles seized from the COVID-19 lockdown period to the 2021 motorcycle disbandment initiative.

This is contained in a statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, on Monday in Kaduna.

Hassan said: “Owners who are certain that their motorcycles were seized during this timeframe are advised to visit the Operation Yaki office with all necessary documents to facilitate the release of their property.

“The retrieval process will commence on March 20 and will last for two weeks, at the Operation Yaki office situated at Constitution Road, Kaduna.”

The command advised the affected individuals to present complete documents of their motorcycles to the Operation Yaki office for their release.

“After the expiration of the two-week retrieval window, the police will no longer entertain complaints regarding seized motorcycles,’’ he said.

Hassan urged the affected owners to take advantage of the opportunity and collect their motorcycles within the stipulated time.
