#Embarrassment and #RonaldoIs39 are currently trending on Nigeria’s X (formerly twitter) space, with the Spanish professional footballer Iniesta at the centre of it all.
Iniesta is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for UAE Pro League club Emirates.
Widely considered one of the greatest midfielders of all time, he is lauded for his balance, ball control and agility in close spaces, combined with his skill, composure, and flair on the ball.
Trouble, however, started when one WelBeast with X handle @WelBeast tweeted: “This has gone beyond the love for the game. Iniesta needs to be saved from the game.”
The tweet was followed by barrage of reactions, both in support and against the Emirates Club midfielder.
