A shocking story of theft and deception has rocked the Nigerian entertainment industry, as Nollywood actor Alesh Sanni revealed how he was allegedly robbed by a cleaner he had taken in as a friend.
Alesh Sanni, who is known for his roles in movies such as The Wedding Party and King of Boys, took to his Instagram page to share the heartbreaking ordeal he faced at the hands of a young man named Folorunsho.
According to Alesh, he met Ekiti state born Folorunsho five months ago and had offered him a job as a cleaner in his house. He said he did not judge him by his appearance and had treated him like a brother, even giving him access to his bedroom.
However, he was shocked to discover that Folorunsho had taken advantage of his kindness and trust, and had stolen his gold jewellery and N3.2m from his safe. He said he only realised what had happened when he returned home and found his room ransacked and Folorunsho nowhere to be found.
He posted pictures and a video of Folorunsho on his Instagram page, and appealed to his fans and followers to help him locate the suspect.
He also expressed his disappointment and anger at how someone he had helped could betray him so cruelly.
