Police in Delta ensure robust security for Yuletide

The Delta State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Wale Abass, has initiated a comprehensive deployment of law enforcement personnel across the entire state. This strategic move aims to guarantee the safety and security of residents before, during, and after the festive celebrations.

Commissioner CP Wale Abass has issued directives to all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Commanders to deploy their teams effectively, ensuring a visible police presence at key celebration locations, especially shopping centers and popular resort areas. The police force will conduct operations focusing on crime prevention, with particular attention to offenses commonly associated with the holiday season.

During an official address, CP Wale Abass emphasized the importance of public vigilance and awareness, urging citizens to stay alert and mindful of their surroundings to avoid falling victim to potential criminal activities.
