Nigerian football star and Barcelona forward Asisat Oshoala has had enough of fans asking her for money on Snapchat. The five-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year winner took to her social media platform to warn those who constantly send her requests for financial help, using excuses such as childbirth or wedding expenses.
Asisat said that she likes to help and support her followers, but she will not tolerate or endorse some of the pleas she receives.
She writes: “I enjoy having fun here, but some things should be obvious. I help a lot of people here, but I won’t deal with cases like ‘MY WIFE JUST GAVE BIRTH,’ ‘I WANT TO HAVE A WEDDING,’ and so on. Use your brain. Get your priorities straight!!” She wrote.
