Tobore Oborevwori expresses support for women’s advancement

Delta State First Lady, Tobore Oborevwori, has expressed support for women’s solidarity and educational advancement. She spoke at the state’s International Women’s Day event.

At the 2024 International Women’s Day celebration hosted by the Delta State Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, and Social Development on Tuesday, Oborevwori, founder of the You Matter Charity Foundation, delivered a call to action for women to support one another and drive progress.

Represented by Barrister Mrs. Ifeoma Akpowowo, wife of the Deputy Speaker, Oborevwori emphasized the importance of solidarity among women in Delta State to ensure inclusive growth, particularly for those facing unique challenges.

Additionally, she highlighted the necessity of prioritizing education, especially for girls, as a crucial step towards unlocking the full potential of women and accomplishing their objectives.
