The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has used Maryam Shetty’s ordeal to preach this morning.
Ms. Shetty was nominated by President Bola Tinubu for a ministerial job; but, on getting to the Senate for her screening, she was told at the entrance that her ministerial nomination had been withdrawn.
The ministerial nominee said she only got to know of her situation when she reached the Senate gate house.
She, however, said she believed it was the way Allah had purposed it and that she would be glad to serve the nation if called upon to do so.
Citing Ms. Shetty’s case during a sermon on Sunday morning, Pastor Adeboye made reference to Psalms 75:6 & 7.
