A popular Nigerian singer, Orezi, has expressed his gratitude to God after a fire ravaged his luxurious Lekki mansion in Lagos.
The fire occurred when Orezi was attending a conference in Lekki County, and he received a phone call from his neighbor Bobrisky, the famous crossdresser, informing him of the disaster.
The singer shared the heartbreaking photos and video of his burnt house on his Instagram story on Tuesday night.
He wrote: “I was in a meeting in Lekki County last night when my neighbor Bobrisky called me and told me that my house was on fire.
“I thought he was joking at first. I was like, What kind of prank is Bob playing on me?
“I rushed to my house as fast as I could. What I saw shattered me.
“Last night was very tough. I’m still trying to understand and process everything that happened.
“I’m sitting here wondering why me. God is truly merciful. I can’t thank God enough.”
