Amaechi Muonagor, a veteran Nollywood actor who is suffering from kidney disease, diabetes, and stroke, received a surprise visit from some of his colleagues in the industry.
His collegues also used the occasion to plead with Nigerians to donate generously towards his medical treatment.
Bob Manuel-Udokwu, Chinedu Ikedieze, and Emeka Rollas, who are among the most popular and respected names in Nollywood, went to see Muonagor at the hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
Rollas, who is also the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), shared a photo of the visit on his Instagram account.
He expressed his sympathy and support for Muonagor, who has been battling with his health for a long time. He also revealed that he has authorized the AGN Trust Fund to send some financial assistance to the actor.
However, he also appealed to the public and other well-wishers to donate more funds to Muonagor, as his medical bills are very high.
He explained that the AGN HMO and insurance policy might not be enough to cover all his expenses.
He urged everyone to pray for the speedy recovery of the actor, who had entertained millions of Nigerians with his talent and charisma.
