Perhaps, it is your birthday week or month or you will be celebrating your birthday later this year and you have been thinking of the best way to make the day remarkable.

Birthday celebrations do not have to always revolve around unhealthy foods, drinks, and unhealthy choices. You can still have a special day with healthy choices.

Below are some practical tips on how to feel special and have fun on your birthday.

Practise mindfulness and meditation: Practising mindfulness and meditation will help you ease off stress, and feel more calm and peaceful. Research has shown that meditation may also help improve your mood, and boost healthy sleep patterns, and cognitive skills.
